Teflon Paint Sealant Story
Teflon, being an incredible chemical product that is highly heat resistant and corrosion resistant . Thus, it is used as a protective shield on surface areas where heat and corrosive type elements cause severe deterioration, such as chemical vats and pipelines, and even on the space shuttle.
In the eighties the protective qualities of Teflon were made available to vehicle owners (cars, boats, aircraft and trucks) in a paint sealant that is applied in our mobile service. This kind of paint sealant not only protects your vehicles finish, but also has a brilliant shine that last for one year or longer. Just maintain the beautiful shine by simply keeping it clean with plain water and a towel and a chamois.
Paint sealants have been in
existence for a number of years, but were mostly being applied by major
car dealers on new cars in Southern Florida and Southern California, and
most of these products are silicone or poly based and do not have the
protective qualities that our JELSEAL has. Our JELSEAL product chemical
system can re
vitalize
a vehicles finish and locks out the harmful effects of the sun, salt,
air pollutants and other harmful fallout from trees, bugs and birds. We
are able to offer a written warranty because our system of application
locks in the Teflon particles and a molecular bonding occurs in the
micro-pores of the vehicles painted surface.
ATS Is the base product of JELSEAL. Which mean Acrylic TEFLON Sealant. ATS is the ultimate overcoat of protection. Based on scientific tests ATS longevity applied is in excess of 3.5 years under ordinary use, but the maximum written warranty is one year. Acrylic, when applied to vehicles finishes, actually bonds with the paint to create an impenetrable shield. This shield guards against rust, corrosion, salt spray, and scuffing. It resists car wash detergents and pollutants. Sun screens protect color from ultraviolet and infared light. A pigment enhancer in JELSEAL highlights faded colors.
